Step by step
- Sign in to the Amazon store your Kindle is registered to (links below) and open Manage Your Content and Devices → Preferences.
- Scroll down and expand Personal Document Settings.
- Under Approved Personal Document E-mail List, click Add a new approved e-mail address.
- Enter the sender's address, for example your Serifize address, and click Add Address.
While you're on that page, note your Send-to-Kindle E-Mail address in the same section. It ends in @kindle.com, and you'll need it to set up any newsletter service.

Documents still not arriving?
Check you approved the exact address
The approved address has to match the sender character for character. If you use Serifize, it's the address shown in your Serifize settings, not your personal email.
Check you used the right Amazon store
Kindle settings belong to the store your Kindle is registered to. If you shop on amazon.co.uk but your Kindle is registered on amazon.com (or the other way round), approve the sender on the store that lists your device.
Check the Kindle address belongs to the device you read on
Each Kindle and Kindle app gets its own @kindle.com address. If you replaced your Kindle or deregistered an old one, documents may be going to a device you no longer use. The Docs tab in Manage Your Content and Devices shows everything Amazon received, even if it never reached your current device.
Look for an email from Amazon
When Amazon can't convert a document, it emails the sender to say so. Serifize watches for these and marks the newsletter as failed on your dashboard.
